What does ‘Apostille’ mean?

The word ‘apostille’ means ‘certification’ and ‘notarisation’ It is commonly used in English to refer to the legalization of an official document.
Why would I get my documents legalized in the UK?

We will present the original documents to our associate UK solicitor firm (recognized by the UK Foreign & Commonwealth Office) to certify the copy of the original and then send over the certified copy to the UK Legalisation Office to legalise/apostille the document with a conformant apostille stamp are accepted for legal and international use in all the nations that have signed the Hague Convention.
Can you send my completed documents to someone else?

Yes. We can send your document(s) directly to your designated individual, bank or business. Simply give us your mailing instructions in writing via email and we will send the documents to that designated address with DHL tracking reference for you to track the mail.
What type of documents can be apostilled/notarised?

Any document from Companies House or issued by the government authorities, for example:

  • Certificate of Incorporation

How does the service work?

You can send us an email enquiry confirming your order and the country/countries the apostilled/ notarised document(s) will be used in as well as your delivery address for returning the document(s). Once we have your order enquiry and the requested information, we will then send you an invoice with our company bank details for you to make payment transfer. Upon the receipt of invoice payment, we will present the original document(s) to our associate UK solicitor firm to certify the document(s) and to submit the certified document(s) to the UK Legalisation Office to apostille/notarised the document. Once the apostilled/notarised document(s) is return from the UK Legalisation Office, we will then dispatch the document(s) to you by DHL courier service.
Will an apostilled/notariseddocument be accepted by any country?

There are currently 105 members of the 1961 Hague Convention which recognize apostilled/ notarised certificate. For countries who are not members of the Hague Convention, we are unable to advise whether an apostille certificate will be accepted. If you are unsure as to whether the country in which you are planning to present the apostille document to is a member of the Hague Convention then please do not hesitate to send us your enquiry and we will check it for you.
